Band Background

DAYSOUT was formed in the summer of 2017 with the original lineup of Chi Tran, Jared Richey, and David Rodas. Initially, the band was known as No Time To Explain, performing numerous gigs under this name. Some notable highlights from this era include headlining shows at Chain Reaction in Anaheim and opening for rock legends Hurricane at The Whisky A Go Go. During this period, we also released our first EP, “It’s Complicated.”

The pandemic forced us into a hiatus, but in September 2022 we regouped and unfortunately, our drummer, David, decided to leave the band. Despite his departure, we remain close friends, and David played a crucial role in introducing us to our new drummer, Max Leibl. Max joined us seamlessly, bringing fresh energy and creativity to the band.

On December 30th, 2022, Max officially became a member of DAYSOUT. We're excited about this new chapter and are thrilled to continue creating music together.
