The Story Behind NO TIME TO EXPLAIN
Our latest record, "No Time To Explain," is a nostalgic nod to our origins as a band, calling back to our high school days when we performed under the same name. This album is a blend of past and present, featuring tracks we wrote with our original drummer, David Rodas, and three new singles created with our current drummer, Max Leibl: "Lost," "BAHT," and "NTTE" (which stands for "No Time To Explain").
One of the standout tracks, "Pizza Man," was originally inspired by J's father. Although it wasn’t intended to be a heavy metal song, that’s exactly how it turned out, adding a unique twist to our repertoire.
The artistic vision behind this album is to show our fans and new listeners that we remain grounded in our roots while embracing growth and change. We deeply appreciate the unwavering support we've received over the years and are excited to share this journey with all of you.
We had the opportunity to produce this record with renowned producers Ronnie King of Ronnie King Group, who has worked with The Offspring, Pepper, and Pennywise, and his partner Lewis Richards of 17th Street Studios, who produced Dirty Heads' greatest hits record, helped write their hit single “Lay Me Down,” and has worked with artists such as Sublime, Avenged Sevenfold, and Alice in Chains.
